Chowing with the Hounds Picnic 2008

For most of us, Chowhound is invaluable with tips, opinions, thoughts, suggestions and directions to places we’d never otherwise encounter. Now’s the chance to meet and eat with all those people whose posts you know and trust. It’s time for a picnic — a serious chowdown with all your new and old chowfriends.
SAVE THE DATE!!!
When: Saturday, September 27th, 2008, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
Where: Tilden Regional Park, Laurel Area.
Who: Both old-timers and newcomers are encouraged to attend! Chowhounds are fun and friendly people who will make you feel welcome. Invitations extend to one Chowhound, plus a spouse or a friend, and their children.
Why: We will still need to charge a fee to cover our costs, including site rental and insurance. The cost will be $15.00 per person, children under 12 free, one free child for each paid adult.
More Details: Registration will be opening in late August or early September, and will be announced on this site and via the East bay, Silicone Valley, North Bay and SF Yahoo lists, and the board. We recommend registering as soon as possible since space is limited, food categories will fill up, and the choice volunteer tasks will be requested quickly.
Everyone will get to share in the potluck of Chowhounds' favorite foods, participate in a tasting event, plus nonalcoholic drinks, park fees, etc.
